Update July 18, 2010
Wow, the time is really flying by! Santa & Mrs. Claus have been to the Beach a couple of times to visit with their Florida & Alabama Friends and pray this Oil Situation will soon be rectified and people back to work and the tourist season salvaged. Please join us in that prayer~
We have also been doing a bit of travelling the world checking on the children and are delighted to report our findings are excellent! Santa has not made a single entry in the 'other' book and in fact, has transferred quite a number of children from that 'other' book into the Nice one. Good job!
Santas Calendar is already filling up. Check it out on the Calendar page and if you are contemplating a personal visit this year, get your date on the books as soon as you can. They will soon be gone and certainly by the end of September. Many of you have a set date for your event that cannot be changed, so check the availability now and get your reservations in to hold that spot for your special event for 2010.
We have been contacted and booked by two new clients already for the coming Season; Pinnacle Realty in Prattville, Alabama and McKay Management Corporation. We thank them for their consideration and look forward to being a part of their very special Christmas Celebration!
We also are in the process of booking our first television appearance of the Season with WVTM Channel 13 in Birmingham, Al. More on that appearance later.
Santa will be appearing July 18, 2010 at Regions Park for an appearance with the Birmingham Barons in honor of their Christmas In July celebration. There will be plenty of fellowship, food, fun, gifts and free photos with Santa at this event, not to mention a great baseball game. Come one, come all! This is always a fun event and one we always look forward to.
Well, that's it for now; but before I go: Be sure to:
Keep the Spirit and Magic of the Christmas Season in Your Heart All Year Long!
Mrs. Claus
UPDATE: JANUARY 16, 2010
Santa & Mrs. Claus welcomed the New Year in with a nice party at the North Pole with all their elves & other helpers in Workshop #3. For those of you that didn't know, the demand for toys outgrew our two workshops so a third workshop was built in 2009. Did your children notice that they got almost everything they asked for (within reason, of course) this year?
That's because with the addition of the new Workshop, the Elves were able to work faster and we had 200 more to help out in the new workshop. One of the most often asked question is how many elves Santa has at the North Pole. There is no easy answer to that because they number in the hundreds and are always changing jobs and locations for their work. Many retire each year after many years of service, some are called to Heaven to work and then there are those that prefer to do their work at YOUR house. So, you can see why there is no way to give a definitive number that are working at any one time.
Santa & Mrs. Claus had a wonderful Christmas Season in 2009, the best yet, matter of fact! They were especially thrilled to have made so many NEW friends this season and absolutely delighted to see so many of their old friends as well. All friends are truly treasures to be cherished.
Santa & Mrs. Claus made several Television appearances this year, not to mention articles in several Print publications. He and Mrs. Claus wish to thank all for being so helpful and doing such a good job.
They will be doing a little less travelling this year, but plan to visit as much as they can when not busy preparing for the next Season.
Thanks to all for making 2009 the best Christmas Season EVER!
UPDATE December 11, 2009
Oh WOW! Another new friend for 2009! We are so pleased to add to our ever growing list of 'friends', Nanci Scarpulla who is with the Birmingham Mom online magazine. She has done a wonderful story about St. Nicholas that can be found here:
http://www.birminghammomonline.net/2009/12/do-you-believe-in-santa-claus.html
and has featured Santa and a nice photo of yours truly to accompany the article. It seems that Santa recently had the good fortune to listen to Nanci's childrens fondest wishes and dreams for Christmas this year while he visited and had breakfast with many others at the Village Tavern last Saturday morning.
Birmingham Mom Online is a wonderful resource guide for Moms to stay in the loop on what's new, what's hot, what's not and where all the events geared toward Moms and their children are. It's the Who, where, when, how and why resource center and is of tremendous help to the busy Moms out there that are so famous for their multi-tasking skills. Nanci is a co-founder along with her partner, Trish Stewart. What a wonderful job both these ladies do with this much needed online resource center.
Santa extends High Fives to them both!

**UPDATE November 23 & 24, 2009**
Santa & Mrs. Claus were blessed to have made friends with a wonderful couple in Robby & Angie Scruggs, back in March, while vacationing in Gatlinburg, Tn. Santa was playing in the snow atop Ober Gatlinburg when Robby, a professional photographer and owner of Scruggs Photography out of Laurel, Ms. captured Santas Playfulness through his camera lens.
We had a wonderful opportunity to meet again with Robby and Angie this past week and play in his photo studio with many, many children. Robby captured the essence of Santa and the children once again through his camera lens and the photos are nothing short of amazing. To view the photos, go to:
www.scruggsphoto.photoreflect.com
There are some great shots of just Santa Individually on page 4. Take a look! These are some of the best photos of Santa we've seen to date.
If you take a notion, you can purchase the photo(s) of your choice online and hang it above your fireplace every Christmas Season.
Nothing brightens a room quite like Santa!
Our Thanks to Robby & Angie Scruggs for their hospitality during our stay in beautiful, historic, Laurel, Mississippi.
Take a look at this: It captures the entire experience of our visit with Robby and Angie at their wonderful studio. What a great bunch of kids came to see Santa!

In addition to those listed above, we wish to acknowledge Texas Roadhouse-Pelham, Longhorn Steak House-Alabaster, Sol Azteca, Jim'n Nicks, The Village Tavern and a host of other fine eating establishments for keeping Santa and Mrs. Claus well fed and looked after throughout the Christmas Season. You guys are the epitome of what 'giving' is all about and we appreciate you tremendously.
Lastly and perhaps most importantly:
The Children.
We had the pleasure of spending time with several thousand children throughout 2008 and in each and every instance, they gave us untold joy and unconditional love. They are so special, each and every one and we are humbled to be in such a wonderful position to accept that love and reciprocate it, also unconditionally.
